DIAKOW, Elizabeth; After a lengthy, yet courageous battle she passed away at Cedarwood Village on Monday February 15, 2010, formerly of Waterford, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of Harry Diakow. Loving mother of Gerry (Linda Zaporzan), Sylvia (Don) Coombs, Lorraine Coates (Ron), Gladys (Myron) Mychajluk. Cherished grandmother of Christine (Ernie), Steven (Oksana), Mark (Jennifer), Andrea (Phil), Angela (Paul), Brad; great grandchildren Katarina, Anna, Justin, Sarah, Madeline, Ava, and Amelia. Predeceased by granddaughter Constance Mychajluk, brothers Walter and Boris, and sister Anna. Elizabeth was an active member of the Ukrainian Catholic Women's League. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Thursday 4-6 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Friday at 11 a.m. Fr. E. Wolinski officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
